Eileen Fisher’s Repurposed ‘Resewn’ Collection

Eileen Fisher took its sustainability efforts a step further this week, expanding its Renew take-back program with the debut of the Resewn Collection, a “limited-edition capsule that transforms one of the brand’s most iconic fabrics into an entirely new collection.” Made in Los Angeles in partnership with Studio 9D8, the capsule features an A-line mini dress, gathered skirt and boxy top, each “thoughtfully reconstructed from returned pairs of the brand’s best-selling black pants made of Eileen Fisher’s signature washable stretch crepe fabric.” Rather than recycling the fabric, the design team developed a process to sort, deconstruct and repurpose the returned garments into usable fabric panels. Shop the collection at eileenfisher.com.

A New Serum From Dr. Dennis Gross

Dr. Dennis Gross introduced the DRx BioRejuvenation Serum ($89), the first-ever topical treatment in the brand’s DRx franchise — best known for the SpectraLite FaceWare Pro LED mask. Reportedly the result of more than five years of research, the formula relies on collagen amino acids as an alternative to applying collagen directly to skin, since collagen cannot effectively penetrate on its own. It also includes glutathione, niacinamide and adenosine to support skin’s “natural energy cycle,” boosting collagen production and improving skin tone, signs of aging and the skin barrier. Shop it at drdennisgross.com and sephora.com.
